York Publishing Services (YPS) has an experienced editorial team that arrange, co-ordinate and manage all aspects of book production from manuscript through to 'pass for print' or PDF files for the internet.

We specialise in the production of text-based books:

Edit and design services

Our long experience in publishing allows us to offer production and commercial advice to organisations that are new to publishing or who only publish infrequently.

We work to your brief and instructions. Although we handle all the work, you remain in control of the project. You do not need to use all our editorial and design services - just the ones you need!

We offer a complete printing service and a level of publishing knowledge and experience which other printers find difficult to provide.

We aim to develop a close partnership and continuing relationship with our clients by maintaining the highest level of customer service and producing quality publications every time.

With digital print on demand there are no longer barriers on the quantity of books printed. Very short runs and print on demand (POD) can be produced cost-effectively.

We project manage the manufacture of multi component publications – reducing your workload and supply chain.
